E! PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS
2018
This was the first year E! Entertainment hosted the People's Choice Awards after acquiring it from CBS. Agency side, our team developed the social strategy and managed cross-platform execution of social calendars, community management, copywriting, content publishing.
2020
With a pandemic at hand, the PCAs were held with a virtual audience as well as a virtual team posting social content remotely. As a freelancer, I was brought on to write copy for day-of content, publish real-time content, do community management totaling in 96 posts resulting in 9.6 million impressions.
2018 PCAs
This was the first People's Choice Awards hosted by E! Entertainment. Along with planning and executing the social strategy leading up to the event, I also produced copy for hundreds of day-of posts.
A large part of our social campaign was to encourage voters to vote, not just on the website the way they traditionally would, but on social media. Our Twitter activation was split up into three phases, including the first round of voting, the second round of voting, and the People's Power Vote on the day of the show.
